Fight to save Battle of Britain Pub

Campaigners are fighting to save a pub where some of ‘the few’ used to drink.

The Plough in Shepreth near Duxford was a popular haunt of pilots who fought in the Battle of Britain, but planners want to turn it into housing.

It is closed at the moment but both the council and villagers are urging planners to remember its history.
