Some Notes from former Resident M. Jackson ( 31/10/2012 )

'I would like to refer to the Photos posted by Mr Paul Mills. The Photo of the Triumph Herald, where he says about the buildings behind the car (and the pub yard). IN FACT the building behind is the "Hatchery building" of the former "Jackson Brothers Hatchery" the chimney visible in the photo was the heating boiler chimney. "The stables" he refers to were in fact situated at the bottom of the garden of the house known as "the Green"(AS IT WAS pre 1972 development).I know because I lived in the "Clay bat cottage" which was demolished by the developers as per the book "Fowlmere 2000". Best regards'
